Specification of word patterns
Parameter settings apply for all the words entered during the search.
- Word initials:
The word entered gives only the beginning of the words to search, any other letter can stand afterwards. There is an invisible wildcard sign * at the end of the words, e.g.: abc*
- Exact words:
You search exactly for the entered word, no other letters can stand after and before the word only if you use wildcard characters.
- Word parts:
You give the middle of the words you search for with the word entered. Any other letters can stand in front of and after the word. There are invisible wildcard signs * at the beginning and at the end of the words, e.g.: *abc*
Search with accents
Parameter settings apply for all the words entered during the search.
- Search with accents:
Accents are considered during the search. The program searches with respect to the accents of the words entered. There are no accents in English but there are accents in several European languages. E.g.: a → á, e → é
- Search without accents:
Accents are not considered during the search. The program searches without respect to the accents of the words entered. It can be useful with words where vowels change in conjugation e.g.: szolga – szolgát. It can be useful with words whose spelling is different in different Bible translations e.g.: Egyiptom – Égyiptom (with e and é). You can use wildcard signs in these cases as well: e.g.: [eé]gyiptom

- Whole Bible:

- Old Testament:

- New Testament:
