On Mac OS X you should install Java Runtime Environment first!
Install: open the dmg file, copy the content to the Application folder, then you can run the Bible program from "Applications" folder. When you first open the app you will get a warning: open Security & Privacy pane of MacOS System Preferences, enable "running apps from unidentified developers" then you can enable the first run from here as well.
