In the default setting the Search panel works in the Bible translations which are set in the panel's preview. These settings are not necessarily the same as the Bible translations chosen in the main Bible panel.
You can search for simple and compound expressions with brackets and wildcard characters as well.
You can use several options from the ones you can find in in the Bible panel as well.
How can you search in more Bible translations?
- If you use parallel view for Bible translations in the Search panel the program searches in all Bible translations displayed after pressing the search button ( ).
- You can search in more Bible translations if you start search by “Search in all the Bibles” button ( ) in the upper toolbar. This way the program searches not only in the chosen Bible translations but (after pressing the button) in all the translations in the chosen language.
How can you display the chosen verse from the result list in the Bible panel of the main panel?
- You can display the chosen verse in the Bible panel by the “Go to verse in the main window” button ( ) in the upper toolbar of the Search panel.
- By double click on one of the rows of the result list the verse will be displayed in the Bible panel of the main panel as well.
Search in the Bible by right click
By right click a menu comes out on the Bible panel. Among others with the help of this menu you can search the word you clicked on and the Strong number belonging to it.
